Things to do!
EAT
LP Steamers - Locust Point
The best Maryland steamed crabs! Request a seat on the roof deck if the weather is nice.
Ekiben - Fells Point/Hampden
This place is a MUST TRY if you are visiting from out of town! They are a beloved Baltimore gem and are constantly being named on lists as one of the best restaurants in the country. Nitin recommends the Neighborhood Bird, and Danielle recommends the Tofu Brah. (This is more of a casual/carryout place with limited seating in Fells Point, more seating at their Hampden location).
Alma Cocina Latina - Station North
Wonderful Venezuelan food and one of our absolute favorites! Danielle recommends the ceviche.
Marta - Upper Fells Point
Our new favorite neighborhood spot- literally everything we’ve tried here has been fantastic. We primarily come here for dinner but they also do brunch on Sundays! Definitely get a reservation in advance. Danielle recommends the Campanelle Zafferano on the dinner menu, or the Smoked Salmon Rosti on the brunch menu!
Clavel - Remington
Beautiful and cozy Mexican restaurant, primarily serving tacos and mezcal. Danielle recommends the Hongos con Huitlacoche tacos, and a spicy Mezcalita if you’re in the mood for a drink!
Pitango Gelato - Fells Point
The best gelato/sorbet in Baltimore, hands down, no contest. Danielle recommends literally every flavor.
Pitango Bakery & Cafe - Fells Point
A nice waterfront cafe, great for a casual breakfast or lunch! Also Danielle’s favorite coffee place. (Located down the street from Pitango Gelato, not the same location).
Puerto 511 - Downtown
A hidden-gem Peruvian restaurant with a prix fixe menu. So good! Reservations are necessary.
DRINK
Dutch Courage - Old Goucher
Cozy gin-bar with awesome cheese boards and small plates.
B-Side - Mt. Vernon
A speakeasy conveniently located inside our recommended hotel (Hotel Revival).
Ministry of Brewing - Upper Fells Point
A brewery located in a former-Catholic church. Really beautiful architecture inside!
V-No Wine Bar - Fells Point
Located right on the harbor (next to Pitango Cafe) it’s a beautiful spot to enjoy a class of wine by the water.
W.C. Harlan - Remington
By the same owners of Clavel (and right down the street from it) a cozy craft cocktail spot.
FUN
Baltimore Aquarium - Inner Harbor
Probably the most “touristy” thing you can do while visiting Baltimore, but this is genuinely a great aquarium!
Rawlings Conservatory - Druid Hill
Beautiful indoor botanical gardens–it’s where we took our engagement photos!
Walters Art Museum - Mt. Vernon
Conveniently located right around the corner from our hotel!
Baltimore Museum of Art - Charles Village
Less conveniently located, but more art!
Historic Fells Point
Lots of shops, restaurants, and bars right by the harbor! This is a perfect area to walk around if you want to enjoy the Baltimore harbor views (much better than going to the Inner Harbor which, frankly, sucks).
“The Avenue” in Hampden (36th St)
”The Avenue” is a long street with tons of great shops, restaurants, and bars! It can be a fun way to kill time between meals to walk around and check out the shops!
